Remember our article back on 21st Feb when Nintendo revealed Mario Golf: World Tour for Nintendo 3DS would feature an underwater course? well its been a good three weeks since we've heard much further on the latest installment of the Mario Golf series which is due for release on 2nd of May 2014.

Nintendo seem to have been focusing their marketing energies on other games like Yoshi's New Island which just landed, and the two games that we are all hoping will save the Wii U - Mario Kart 8 and the upcoming Super Smash Bros 3DS/Wii U title. But after 21 days of waiting we've got a bit more for the avid Mario Golfers amongst us.

As well as the confirmation of Mii customisation, online play and excellent visuals we've also got a new video featuring gameplay from the new underwater course Cheep Cheep Lagoon, check it out below

"Dive in, Mario Golf"

Nice to see Daisy starring in this little gameplay video, has she finally strangled Rosalina?.

I'm a huge fan of sports games, and especially not really golf games but Mario Golf: World Tour does look to boast an interesting array of features, and Camelot have been hard at work on this title for quite a while now, so I'm sure we can expect some excellent in-game physics to accompany the host of new features and nice looking courses.

You can pre-order Mario Golf: World Tour at Amazon.
