Super Mario Bros. Super Show Cartoon Episode 50 – Crocodile Mario
Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool, and Toad have traveled to Down Under Land, where they are searching for a Magic Statue that can supposedly protect Princess Toadstool's kingdom. Walking past several Birdoroos, the quartet approaches a small town known as the Outback.
In the town, King Koopa sneaks over to the Magic Statue, picks it up, and runs off with it. As King Koopa runs past the city hall, the mayor of the town refers to him as Kangaroo Koopa, and pleads for Mario's group to stop him. Before they can react, Kangaroo Koopa runs past them, claiming that the statue now belongs to him, and that the crocodiles that suddenly start infesting the town belong to them.
With Kangaroo Koopa gone, the mayor explains that the statue was his town's only protection against the crocodiles, which will inevitably eat everyone there if they are not stopped soon. While Mario laments about not being able to eat lunch, a crocodile creeps up behind Toad. Mario states that if he does not get to eat anything, neither should the crocodile. Mario attempts to wrestle the crocodile, but soon gets himself knocked off its back. Luigi fearfully attempts to fend off the crocodile with his plumber's helper, but Mario pulls out his own and uses it to keep the crocodile's mouth wedged open.
Princess Toadstool congratulates Crocodile Mario, but she and Toad are then chased off by another crocodile. The mayor directs the two of them to hide out on top of the general store with the rest of the townsfolk, where the crocodiles cannot reach them. As all the buildings in town are made of wood, the crocodiles start chewing the walls of the store in an attempt to bring it down. Princess Toadstool begs for Mario and Luigi to retrieve the Magic Statue. Mario complies, but he and Luigi are surrounded by the crocodiles, one of which spits Mario's plumber's helper back at him.
With nowhere to run, Luigi states that the crocodile Mario that stopped earlier has recuited his friends to help him finish the two of them off. Mario tells Luigi to piggyback himself onto his shoulders, and using his plumber's helper as a pogo stick, they bounce over the crocodiles and escape from the town. Though Luigi comments that the two of them are now safe, Mario states that Princess Toadstool and Toad are still in danger, and that they still need to get the Magic Statue back from Kangaroo Koopa.
After constructing a raft, Mario and Luigi push it into the water and proceed to ride it down the river. Mario tells Luigi that he will look out for any danger if Luigi steers. Luigi tells Mario that he should steer instead, because he is too afraid to open his eyes for what lies ahead. Just then, the two of them are assaulted by Birdoroo eggs, which they barely manage to dodge. Mario instructs Luigi to use his paddle to escape to the other side of the river, but they are not aware of the fact that Kangaroo Koopa and his Koopa Troopas are there. Koopa is surprised to see that Mario and Luigi made it this far, but he orders the Koopa Troopas to assault the brothers with boomerangs. Ducking under the boomerangs, Mario exclaims that they at least found Koopa, but Luigi points out that if the boomerangs do no hit them, the Birdoroo eggs will. Mario tells him that they need not worry about the attacks, and should instead worry about the rapids that they soon reach. Luigi then cries that they will probably crash onto some rocks.
Trivia & Bloopers
- After Kangaroo Koopa steals the statue, the mayor's mustache is colored black instead of brown.
- When Princess Toadstool and Toad run into the general store, the doorknob is on the left, but in the next shot, it is on the right.
- When the Mushroomers are scared of the crocodiles entering the town, the crocodiles freeze for a few frames in the transition to the next shot.
- When Princess Toadstool says that one of the crocodiles wants to eat Toad, her left eyebrow disappears briefly.
- On Netflix, the episode's title and description were swapped with those of "Plummers Academy."
- With the Plumber's Log being removed from the French dub, and Down Under Land not being mentioned anywhere else, this makes the location the episode takes place ambiguous in the French dub.

Rowdy Roddy's Rotten Pipes (Live Action Sketch)
In the kitchen area of Mario Brothers Plumbing, Luigi is frantically searching through some junk, and fails to find what he is looking for. Luigi laments to Mario that the mean wrestler Rowdy Roddy Piper will arrive at any moment, and asks for him to lend a hand. Mario approaches Luigi, bringing with him a vacuum cleaner crafted primarily from a bagpipe. Unaware of the vacuum cleaner's appearance, Luigi tells Mario that Rowdy Roddy Piper is coming over to pick up his bagpipes, which he hired Luigi to fix. Mario tries to tell Luigi that plumbers do not fix bagpipes, but Luigi exclaims that did not want to tell that to Rowdy Roddy Piper. As Mario walks up to the door to answer the doorbell, Luigi enquires to him about their new vacuum cleaner, and Mario responds that he put it together from some old junk that was lying around.
Mario opens the door and mistakes Rowdy Roddy Piper for "some hairy lady with a plaid dress." Rowdy Roddy Piper quicky snaps back at Mario, and tells him that what he said was a mistake most people only make once. Rowdy Roddy Piper angrily introduces himself to Mario, and demands to have his bagpipes back. Mario tries to pass off his comment as a joke, and advises Roddy that he should not be wearing a skirt in streets of Brooklyn, only to get hissed at by Roddy. Asking for his bagpipes again, Roddy makes it clear that they were an antique family heirloom.
Just as Luigi realizes that the vacuum cleaner had been made from Roddy's bagpipes, Roddy sees the vacuum for himself and asks if it had been made from his bagpipes. Luigi then makes up a lie about the vacuum cleaner, claiming that it is a Scottish import from the McBronx Vacuum Company, a one-of-a-kind model, and an original. Roddy does not really believe Luigi's McBronx story, and demands for him to turn on the vacuum. Luigi turns on the vacuum cleaner, causing bagpipe music to play, and a puff of dust to blow into Roddy's face. Before Roddy can react, Luigi comments to Mario that they just blew it.
As Roddy washes off his face at the kitchen sink, he asks if bagpipes are ready. Meanwhile, Mario and Luigi and rushing to fix the bagpipes, and Luigi asks Mario to buy them some time by turning on some bagpipe music. Mario searches through their tape collection, but since they do not own any bagpipe tapes, he opts to play an opera tape instead. When Mario asks Roddy what he thinks of the music, Roddy laughs, claims that the music is beautiful, and asks for a clean washcloth.
As Mario hands Roddy a new washcloth, Roddy continues to wipe his face, stating that he hates it when people mess him over. While Mario and Luigi continue to work on the bagpipes, Roddy realizes that the new washcloth was filthy, due to the fact that it left skid marks on his face. After Roddy yells at Mario and Luigi, Luigi asks Mario if he thinks Roddy is angry, and Roddy responds with a hiss.
