Super Mario Kart competition in Nintendo Power Magazine Vol. 83
This competition to celebrate the SNES #1 Racer; Super Mario Kart had Two Karts and 10lbs of Banana's as the prize for the overall winner. Best.... prize.... ever? I wouldn't fancy cleaning it up after the days racing was over though.
The competition was published in the April 1996 edition of Nintendo Power.
