Driving Techniques
A couple of basic driving tips which might just help you pip everyone else to the post and have some fun along the way!

Drift – You can send your kart drifting into a sideways power slide by pressing either the L Button or R Button while tilting the control stick either left or right. Drifting lets you take corners without losing speed. |

Double Dash!! – In CO-OP play you can get an even better launch if both the front and rear characters perform a Rocket Start at the same time. |

Rocket Start – If you press the A button just as Lakitu‘s signal turns green, you’ll perform a Rocket Start. |
