Big N have just announced a pretty sweet looking limited edition
Super Smash
Bros 3DS XL bundle, this one is only for Europe, but hopefully
something will follow for the rest of the world.

 

NOA always seem to keep their
cards close and upstage everyone at the last minute, so I will be keeping an eye
out for any news from them and other global releases and will post up here – any
tip offs for your locale appreciated!

For the first time in the whole Mario Kart series which spans 22 years (since
the original Mario Kart
in 1992) we will get real-world vehicles in a Mario game. Three different types
of Mercedes-Benz
cars will be driveable after the August 27th game update for Mario Kart 8.

Nintendo releases The Cat Mario show on the European Wii U / 3DS eShop

The Cat Mario Show featuring Puppet versions of Cat Mario & Cat Peach

 

Nintendo have released a mini series, hosted by puppet versions of Mario and
Peach in their famed Cat costumes that were first seen in
Super Mario 3D World.
It is available to watch for free on the
Wii U,
3DS and 2DS and is aimed at
younger users "The Cat Mario Show is described as a "bite-sized" puppet show
aimed at children." – The show can be accessed via the Nintendo eShop in Europe
now and has been availale in Japan for some time already.

Nintendo recently hosted a kids corner event attended by some of the biggest
names in videogames such as
Shigeru
Miyamoto, Takashi Tezuka and Tsunekazu Ishihara – I tried to attend, but was
denied entry at the door, apparently I wasn’t short enough. Check out the

Play Nintendo Tour Kicks off, starting in Los Angeles – Check out the photos

The play Nintendo tour is finally underway bringing the magical worlds of
Nintendo’s biggest franchises to life… and if you’re lucky enough it might
just be coming to a city near you.

The tour will feature some of the latest first party Nintendo games like Kirby
Triple Deluxe, Yoshi’s
New Island, the newest Pokemon games (X and Y), The Legend of Zelda: A Link
Between Worlds,
Super Mario 3D Land, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D,
Mario Kart 7 and
there will even be a special area at each event for competitive Kart racing!

released to the masses tomorrow and by the reviews its one of the most
