It's Kootie Pie's birthday and King Koopa always goes out of his way to ensure she has a good birthday and to make her happy. This birthday however, none of the gifts will do. Only ruling America will be an acceptable gift meaning a trip to the real world via the Doomship. Before they depart for America Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess Toadstool are captured to prevent their interference.

They must find a way to escape especially with the White House relocated to the Mushroom Sea and Washington, D.C. infested with the Koopa army.

Trivia & Bloopers

After Kootie Pie kicks her cake out the window, she whines, but her mouth does not move.
When King Koopa says that Kootie Pie should tell him what she actually wants for her birthday, one of his fangs is colored pink instead of white several times.
After King Koopa tells Kootie Pie that America is in the real world, a white diamond-shaped mark appears behind him for a frame.
After King Koopa agrees to get Kootie America, his eyes shift right a few times.
Kootie Pie narrates the preview for this episode by saying, "King Dad gives me, Kootie Pie Koopa, the United States of America for my birthday. Only the Super Mario Bros. can stop me from ruining the whole country! Such spoilsports…"[26]
This episode, along with "Sneaky Lying Cheating Giant Ninja Koopas," are the only two episodes that use a different scene transition style, where some scenes transition with a pink border around it with no black screen appearing before fading to the next scene. This transition style does not appear in later episodes, likely due to these episodes being produced first.
