The Wii U takes another step forward in utilising the intraweb thanks to
Mario Kart 8. Nintendo today announced that not only will MK8 feature Mario Kart
TV, but you’ll also be able to directly upload the highlights of your races from
in game straight to YouTube.
Mario Kart 8 boasts a total of 30 racers to choose from from what we’ve
seen so far. This massive selection includes returning veterans and some
surprising new racers… so we can understand if you need some assistance in choosing the

More new playable characters? Mario Kart TV?! and thats just the tip of the
iceberg… It’s exactly one month until our new karts arrive and we can finally
destroy the guy who has led the race all game with a rather lame blue shell just
in time to stop him crossing the line and allow a good 3 or 4 people to
overtake.. … I’m not bitter.. much, but I sure am glad to see the introduction
of the Super Horn – a fantastic idea!!

Nintendo have taunted us with yet another track from Mario Kart 8, remember
that track in the trailers where everyone races underneath a giant jumbo yet?

pre-order rewards for Mario Kart 8 available to the UK & Europe where people

keychains? well I thought it was strange at the time that we hadn’t heard
anything similar for Japanese or North American pre-orders as they usually wipe
the floor with us on promotions and freebies.
Nintendo of Japan have today struck back; for anyone in Japan who preorders
Mario Kart 8 from Amazon there will be some really neat looking playing cards as
a free gift.
